Welcome Dr. William Stricker and Allergy & Asthma Consultants of the Ozarks!
We are excited to announce that as of May 23rd, Allergy & Asthma Consultants of the Ozarks (AAC) has joined Family Allergy & Asthma. AAC’s five offices – located in Jefferson City, Columbia, Rolla, Sedalia, and Warrensburg – will be Family Allergy’s first offices in Missouri. Both practices share common core values, and the merger will allow AAC to continue to focus on excellent patient care and customer service.
What does this mean for current Allergy & Asthma Consultants patients?
Although our name will be new, our providers and the staff will remain the same, as will our focus of delivering the highest quality allergy and asthma care to patients. Drs. Stricker, Landwehr, Tripathty, Vandewalker and Nurse Practitioner, Deb Johnoff, will continue to see patients at their respective local offices across central Missouri. Any visits before the merger will be billed from Allergy & Asthma Consultants and any visits afterward from Family Allergy; this means you may receive a statement from both companies in the same month, depending on the date of your visits. In addition, patients will now have access to an online patient portal, which includes appointment requests, bill pay, medical records, and more. Thank you for your patience as we transition to an electronic medical records platform.
Meet Our New Providers:
William “Wes” Stricker, MD
William E. “Wes” Stricker, MD, started Allergy & Asthma Consultants of the Ozarks in 1984 and grew the practice to five offices and five providers over 38 years. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and a subsequent fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, from 1979 to 1984. He also received a Master of Science in Medicine from the University of Minnesota.

Lawrence Landwehr, MD
Dr. Landwehr completed his Allergy/Immunology fellowship training at the National Jewish Center for Immunology/Respiratory Medicine in Denver, CO. In addition to being a board-certified allergist, Dr. Landwehr trained as a principal investigator at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Research Training Course. He has served as the principal investigator at the Clinical Research of the Ozarks since 1997.

Sanchayita Tripathy, MD
Dr. Tripathy completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Allergy/Immunology Fellowship through the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During her fellowship, she conducted laboratory research identifying inflammatory patterns in asthmatic patients. Dr. Tripathy has also been involved in clinical allergy and asthma research trials as a Site Medical Director and Clinical Investigator for Clinical Research of the Ozarks since 1995.

Mark Vandewalker, MD
Dr. Vandewalker completed his residency for pediatrics and his allergy/immunology fellowship at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. He also completed an externship in Allergy and Respiratory disease at the National Jewish Hospital Asthma Center in Denver, Colorado. He is the President and Medical Director of the Clinical Research of the Ozarks.

Deb Johnoff, FNP
Deb has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1998, completing her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She has helped patients in Columbia and Jefferson City, MO, with their allergies and asthma for the past 14 years. She is also a sub-investigator for Clinical Research of the Ozarks.
