Current Research Studies
The Family Allergy & Asthma Research Institute is actively enrolling eligible participants for clinical research studies focused on asthma and allergic conditions. Participation is open to both current and non-patients. Explore the studies below to learn more about available opportunities.
If you’re interested in participating, please complete the research interest form below or from the study page that most interests you. A member of our research team will follow up with next steps.
Novartis (RECLAIM) – Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) Study
Adults with chronic hives (CSU)
This study is evaluating an oral investigational medication compared to an injectable biologic to determine how effectively it reduces chronic hives in adults whose symptoms are not well controlled with antihistamines.
Regeneron (AIM4) – Asthma Study
Adolescents and adults with uncontrolled asthma
This study compares two treatment approaches to determine whether adding an investigational medication may better reduce severe asthma exacerbations than increasing inhaler dosage alone.
Sanofi (ATLAS) – Asthma Study
Adults with asthma (18+)
This long-term asthma study is evaluating whether an investigational treatment may help slow lung function decline in adults with a history of asthma exacerbations. Participants will receive either the study medication or placebo as part of a multi-year clinical trial.
Amgen (Rocatinlimab) – Asthma Study
Adults ages 18–75 with asthma
This study is assessing an investigational injectable therapy designed to reduce asthma flare-ups by targeting immune pathways involved in inflammation. The trial includes monitored treatment over approximately one year.
