Dr. Rankin talks Pollen and Allergies with WPSD

Sneezing and coughing caused by allergies are starting to be a big problem for many allergy sufferers in the area. Dr. Bradley Rankin spoke to WPSD Local 6 news about what causes allergies and what people can do about their symptoms.

During the spring, pollen often comes from the blooming trees whereas later in the season grasses will start to pollinate.

If you are suffering, there are over-the-counter medications that can dampen the effects of allergies. If you are out driving, keep the windows up to keep pollen out of the car.
