New office opening in Avon, IN!

Opening October 2, 2019!

We are excited to announce that we are opening a new office in Avon, Indiana next month on October 2. This office is located west of Indianapolis on Highway 36 and serves Avon and the surrounding areas of Hendricks County and Marion County. On-site allergy shots will be offered three days a week, and same-week appointments will be frequently available for new patients.

Tuesday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Wednesday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Closed for lunch: 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm

The Indianapolis area can be a challenging area to live in with allergies; our new office will provide convenient allergy and asthma care to patients looking for relief. We also have offices located in Zionsville and Greenwood that are currently open, giving patients options depending on what is most convenient for them.

Allergy care often starts with allergy testing, as it is crucial to know what your body is allergic to before our allergists develop an effective treatment plan. We offer a full range of allergy and asthma testing, including allergy skin testing, stinging insect testing, food challenges, and pulmonary function testing. Our physicians also offer a variety of treatments plans to treat allergies and asthma. If medication and avoidance are not enough to control your allergies, then they may recommend immunotherapy or allergy shots.

This office will be served by two allergists and our trained nursing staff. All of our staff are comfortable treating both pediatric and adult patients.

Meet our physicians:

Ann Esquivel, MD, is a board-certified allergist who joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2016. She is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine, where she also completed her pediatrics residency. Dr. Esquivel completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She also speaks Spanish.

Vivian Nanagas, MD, is a board-certified allergist who recently joined Family Allergy & Asthma. She is a graduate of the Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine, and she completed her pediatrics residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Nanagas then completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Michigan.

Anita Sivam, DO recently joined Family Allergy & Asthma after completing her Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a graduate of Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) and received her medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, New York.
