Delaware, OH Office – Opening August 2022
We are excited to announce that our Delaware, Ohio office is officially opening on August 15th. This office is located in the Delaware Community Plaza off of the Columbus Pike near Kroger. Our Delaware location will offer on-site allergy shots three days a week and appointments for new and existing patients.

Those with allergies in the Delaware area often find the fall season especially challenging due to the increase in weed pollen throughout the region. According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, the Columbus region sees an above average influx in ragweed during the fall months. Our new office will provide allergy and asthma care to patients looking for relief.
Before our board-certified allergist develops a personalized treatment plan, patients will undergo allergy testing to understand which allergens their body is sensitive to. We offer a full range of allergy and asthma testing, including allergy skin testing, stinging insect testing, food challenges, and pulmonary function testing. While avoidance of allergens is best, if that’s not enough to control symptoms, our doctors can recommend treatment plans including inhaled and oral medications, biologics, and immunotherapy (allergy shots).

Board-Certified Allergists Treating Patients in Delaware:
Dr. Samantha Gendelman joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2021 after nearly ten years as a board-certified allergist. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Ohio University and then graduated from the University of Toledo College of Medicine with her medical degree. Dr. Gendelman is board certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy & Immunology.
Dr. Sridhar Guduri joined Family Allergy & Asthma after 18 years as a board-certified allergist in the Columbus area. He completed his fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. With over fifteen years of clinical experience, he specializes in diagnosing and managing allergic diseases and asthma in both children and adults.
Dr. Deborah Ortega-Carr joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2021 after nearly 30 years as a board-certified allergist. She completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunotherapy at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Ortega-Carr has been a clinical instructor at Ohio State University and maintains an active interest in the residents and medical students’ education. She has also been involved in clinical research and writing numerous publications in the fields of allergy, asthma, and immunology.
Dr. Grace Ryu joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2021 after nearly 30 years as a board-certified allergist. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at Columbus Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Ryu has been involved in clinical research and has written several publications for the allergy, asthma, and immunology fields.
