Taylor Atchley, MD

Taylor Atchley, MD, is a board-certified Allergist and Immunologist dedicated to providing exceptional patient care at Family Allergy & Asthma. Dr. Atchley brings a wealth of leadership and clinical expertise to his practice, drawing from a distinguished nine-year career serving in the United States Air Force.

He earned his Medicinae Doctoris degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine before completing his Internal Medicine Residency at Keesler Medical Center, where he was selected ahead of his peers to serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Atchley subsequently completed his Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Prior to transitioning to private practice in the Chattanooga, Tennessee and North Georgia area in 2023, Dr. Atchley served as the Chief of the Allergy and Immunizations Clinic at Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. During his military service, he received numerous honors, including the Meritorious Service Medal and the Humanitarian Service Medal for his exceptional medical oversight.

Clinically, Dr. Atchley specializes in a comprehensive range of atopic diseases, including asthma and primary immunodeficiencies. He is highly skilled in designing and implementing food and drug challenges, as well as prescribing and overseeing venom and allergen immunotherapy. Known for his outstanding patient communication and rapport, Dr. Atchley is passionate about making patient education clear, accessible, and engaging.

Dr. Atchley sees patients in our Chattanooga and Jasper, TN offices.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and local church community, mountain biking, and camping.
