Laura Wilhem Manley, Nurse Practitioner

Laura Wilhem Manley joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2018 and serves a pivotal role in our patients’ allergy and asthma care as a nurse practitioner. Laura has been in the allergy field since 2012, she previously worked as an RN at Kosair Children’s Hospital. Laura graduated magna cum laude from Bellarmine University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).  Laura then completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Bellarmine University, graduating with honors in 2011.

Laura is a certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN)/family nurse practitioner (FNP) under the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is a registered nurse (RN) licensed in Kentucky and Indiana.  As a registered nurse, Laura spent several years at Kosair Children’s Hospital caring for pediatric patients with respiratory, endocrine, neurological, and gastrointestinal disorders. She now treats children and adults with allergies and asthma.

Laura was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. Laura’s hobbies include crafting and cooking, in addition to being a mommy to three children.  She, and her husband, Clay, have two sons (Ford and Mac) and one little girl (Laney).  Laura enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends.
