Heather Hammack is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience. She began her nursing career in 2004 and has practiced as a nurse practitioner since 2019.
Her background is in family primary care for patients of all ages, with a focus on managing chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, and diabetes, and on preventive care, patient education, and long-term wellness. For many years she also provided pediatric care in a school-based setting, including immunizations, sports and wellness physicals, and developmental, vision, and hearing screenings.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Heather practiced as a registered nurse in pain management, intensive care, medical-surgical, and rehabilitation settings. She also serves as an adjunct nursing professor at the University of the Cumberlands, teaching pathophysiology to undergraduate nursing students.
Heather has spent her nursing career caring for patients across southeastern Kentucky. A lifelong Laurel County resident, she lives in London and is deeply connected to the community she serves.

Outside of the clinic, Heather enjoys serving at her church, camping, jeeping, and exploring Kentucky’s scenic backroads with her family.
