Welcome to the family, Kentuckiana Allergy!

We are excited to announce that effective December 3, 2018, Kentuckiana Allergy join Family Allergy & Asthma. Kentuckiana Allergy is a respected group of 5 board-certified allergists with seven offices in the Louisville Metro and Southern Indiana region. With the addition of Kentuckiana Allergy, Family Allergy & Asthma will now have 17 offices in the Louisville Metro served by 15 board-certified allergists.

What does this mean for current Kentuckiana Allergy patients?

The physicians at Kentuckiana Allergy will continue to provide patient care at all of their current locations and patients will continue to see their usual doctor. All current appointments will remain as currently scheduled, and we anticipate minimal change to your overall patient care. Besides the name change, the main difference you may notice is future billing statements will come from Family Allergy & Asthma instead of Kentuckiana Allergy.

What does this mean for current Family Allergy patients?

Once the transition is complete, this means patients will have access to several additional convenient locations to receive their shots and additional providers for care.

Meet Our New Providers:

Daniel P. Garcia, MD

Dr. Daniel Garcia is board certified in Allergy & Immunology and cares for adult and pediatric patients.  He is recognized as one of the top allergy specialists in the area, named as a “Top Doc” in Louisville Magazine by his peers in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, and 2015.

John G. Riehm, MD

Dr. Riehm is board certified in Allergy & Immunology and cares for patients of all ages. He is also a clinical supervising physician for the University of Louisville Allergy Clinic.

Stuart W. White, MD

Dr. White is board certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy & Immunology. He is recognized as one of the top allergy specialists in the area, named as a “Top Doc” in Louisville Magazine by his peers in 2007, 2011, 2013, and 2015.

Douglas B. Tzanetos, MD

Dr. Tzanetos is board certified in three specialties: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Allergy & Immunology. He is a member of four professional societies: the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology; the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology; and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Jeremy D. Jones, MD

Dr. Jones is board certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as Internal Medicine. In addition to seeing patients, he devotes time to scientific research in Allergy and Immunology, with a particular interest in anaphylaxis and the effects of medications on allergy skin testing.

Laura Manley, APRN

Laura is a certified advanced practice registered nurse/family nurse practitioner under the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a registered nurse, Laura spent several years at Kosair Children’s Hospital caring for pediatric patients with respiratory, endocrine, neurological, and gastrointestinal disorders.

Lori Fields, APRN

Lori is a certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and serves as a CPR Instructor through the American Heart Association. She has also worked as a nurse practitioner in primary care, urgent care, and Jefferson County Public Schools.

Kentuckiana Allergy Locations:

These offices remain open, and the providers will continue to see patients as normal. Allergy shots will also be available as usual.  They will be rebranded as Family Allergy & Asthma after the transition.
