Sanchayita Tripathy, MD

Dr. Ita Tripathy joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2022 after over 25 years as a board-certified allergist/immunologist in Rolla, MO. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Washington University in St. Louis. After which, she completed her medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She then went on to complete an Internal Medicine Residency and Allergy/Immunology Fellowship through the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During her fellowship, she conducted laboratory research identifying inflammatory patterns in asthmatic patients.

Dr. Tripathy has also been involved in clinical allergy and asthma research trials as a Site Medical Director and Clinical Investigator for Clinical Research of the Ozarks since 1995.  She has several publications in Allergy and clinical immunology journals.

She lives with her physician husband in Rolla, MO and they have two grown children.
