Dr. Anita Sivam joined Family Allergy & Asthma after completing her pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a graduate of Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) and received her medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York. Dr. Sivam completed her residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. During her Allergy/Immunology training, she co-authored several peer-reviewed publications, worked on numerous research projects in the allergy and asthma field, and has obtained many academic awards and honors. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and in Allergy and Immunology. She sees both children and adults. One of her favorite things about her specialty is seeing families! Within the allergy field, she has interest in allergic rhinitis including immunotherapy (allergy shots), recurrent sinusitis, asthma, food allergy, and eosinophilic esophagitis. Dr. Sivam is excited to practice in the Indianapolis area. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and family, listening to audiobooks, and exploring new restaurants.
