Stephanie Garcia joined Family Allergy & Asthma in August 2024 as an APRN in our Jefferson City and Columbia offices. She has been a registered nurse since 2013. Her nursing career began on an intermediate care unit in Las Vegas, NV. She then transitioned to medical-surgical/oncology in Columbia, MD where she became certified in administration of chemotherapy. This included also caring for oncology patients that were admitted to the hospital for medical exacerbations in addition to their cancer diagnosis. She also has experience in float pool as a travel nurse.

While obtaining her family nurse practitioner degree, she worked in a pre-surgery clinic to ensure patients of all ages were safe to undergo anesthesia. Before joining Family Allergy & Asthma, she was an FNP in urgent care.

She received her Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2020, and her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Nevada State College in 2012.

Stephanie is a mom to a 7-year-old boy who keeps her on her toes. They enjoy traveling, playing games, and spending time with family.
