Two Local Allergy Clinics join Kentucky-based Family Allergy & Asthma
COLUMBUS, Ohio – February 1, 2021 – Allergy & Asthma Clinics of Ohio (AACO) and Midwest Allergy have joined with Louisville, KY-based Family Allergy & Asthma (FAA). The acquisition of AACO closed on January 20, 2021, followed by Midwest Allergy on February 1, 2021. These are FAA’s first offices in Central Ohio and join their Cincinnati and Dayton area offices for a total of 22 locations in Ohio.
AACO is the medical practice of Drs. Suresh Sharoff, Sridhar Guduri, and H.C. Nataraj, based in Dublin and with seven additional offices throughout Central Ohio. “We’ve grown over the last several years in order to provide convenient allergy care to more patients in the region, and we look forward to furthering that mission with Family Allergy,” said Dr. Sharoff, a board-certified allergist with AACO. “Their resources will be beneficial to our patients and allow us to focus solely on patient care, while they manage the business side of the practice.”
“Since we opened more than 35 years ago, we’ve focused on being a leader in providing trusted allergy and asthma care across the region, and we are excited about this new partnership,” said Dr. Don McNeil, a board-certified allergist with Midwest Allergy. “Family Allergy will be able to provide new resources that benefit our patients, such as electronic medical records with a patient portal and mobile app.” Midwest Allergy is the medical practice of Drs. Don McNeil, Debora Ortega-Carr, Grace Ryu, and Samantha Gendelman and is based in Worthington, with six additional offices in the area.
FAA will continue to provide care at all AACO and Midwest Allergy offices, though some will likely be consolidated in the coming year. There will be no reduction of staff as a result of the acquisitions.

The acquired offices will be rebranded under the FAA name and integrated into the practice.
