Family Allergy & Asthma Announces Partnership

Family Allergy & Asthma, the region’s largest allergy medical practice, announced a strategic partnership with private equity group Prairie Capital of Chicago, IL.

“We are very excited to welcome Prairie Capital as our partner, and look forward to working together to expand our patient-focused model to serve more people needing allergy and asthma care,” stated James Sublett, M.D. “When we founded Family Allergy & Asthma, our goal was to provide the best allergy care possible for as many people as possible, and this partnership will allow us to reach far more patients than we ever imagined.”

“While we have recently expanded into the Indianapolis market and will open our first Ohio office in Cincinnati this summer, this partnership will allow us to grow in those markets, and beyond, more efficiently than we would have been able to alone,” explained Kay Tyler, Chief Executive Officer of Family Allergy & Asthma. Tyler said that the new partnership is anticipated to result in additional jobs, both at the headquarters in Louisville as well as in markets where new offices are opened.
