See if you are eligible for APeX-S, an open label prospective clinical research study we are conducting testing an investigational ORAL medication to prevent HAE attacks.
The future could be a capsule rather than a needle to prevent HAE attacks.
Right now, patients are being enrolled in the Apex-S study, a worldwide clinical research study evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational oral medication that may prevent HAE attacks.

Am I Eligible?
If you are interested in participating in a clinical research study evaluating an investigational alternative to injections or infusions to prevent HAE attacks, you might be eligible if you:
- Have been diagnosed with HAE Type 1 or 2
- Are 12 years old or older
- Have access to and can be treated with medicine for HAE attacks
All study-related medical care will be provided at no charge.
What should I know about participating in a clinical research study?

Participating in a clinical research study is purely voluntary. Should you decide to participate in the Apex-S Study-or any clinical research study- you are free to withdraw at any time and for any reason.
You will be compensated for travel expenses and for your time spent at the clinic.
