Jeffrey R. Leipzig, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Leipzig joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2018 after 20 years as a solo board-certified allergist. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. After medical school, Dr. Leipzig went on to complete his Pediatrics residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. From there he completed two additional years of an Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Saint Louis University.

Dr. Leipzig treats both children and adults with allergies and asthma.  As a board-certified physician by The American Board of Allergy and Immunology, he sustains the most current scientific knowledge of new developments with ABMS MOC® Maintenance of Certification. He is a leader in the community and the field of allergy/immunology.  Dr. Leipzig has authored many papers in the field of asthma, allergy, and sinusitis, and has lectured extensively on allergy and asthma topics.

He enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter.  He enjoys traveling, reading history, outdoor recreation, especially hiking, mountain biking and fishing.  He is an avid cyclist, runner, and swimmer despite being hit by a truck while cycling in 2007.  He has completed Ironman Triathlons, triathlons, and competitive running races.
